Sunsan Hotel & Restaurant

If you were traveling in the summer, this would be a fun place being right on the beach and with the swimming pool, which would be great for kids

Location could be better there are no other amenities or facilities or bars or restaurants or things close by

Location ok.Room medium quality but a bit dirty bathroom.Breakfast was good.

Owner gives parties and weddings with customers in the hotel. They do not care about customers and that they cannot sleep.This was one of the worst experiences I ever had for the money paid.Scam !!!If you give weddings just cancel the reservations, why bother the customers ? You have people driving 10 hours who want just to sleep, Considering I have payed 110 euro per room, 110 euro, I should be able to sleep not to listen to Turkish music.This is a disgrace.Also the pool area very dirty, a total mess.The courtyard was full of cigarettes buds from the parties they are organizing. Imagine that they don't even bother to clean the grass from their own courtyard. Disgusting.

The location, the size of the room and the staff. The location for dinner by the beach at sunset was magical.

Dirty pool furniture. The beach is also a bit dirty. Turkish breakfast is not our thing but I'm sure others like it.

The view and the bed as well as the wonderful location.

In general it wasn't very clean, especially the changing rooms and the pool terrace. Also our terrace was dirty.

Close to airport

Most staff not very communicative. I made all arrangements, paid and was person who communicated with staff but they would not respond to me and instead would respond to my male companion like I was invisible. I noticed this throughout our stay in Turkey.

Great staff, modern rooms, great restaurant and yummy abundant food.

Elevator not working so needed to take our suitcases up the stairs.

The location is very nice and quiet. The restaurant is fantastic (the price is reasonable for the quality but very close to European prices). Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Excellent staff at reception and very kind at the restaurant.I add a note: this hotel was the first of 12 on our tour of a good part of Turkey. I would like to express a general thought: if you want to make tourists pay certain prices ( which are no longer the ones you can find in many travel reports)then the staff, menus and many other things should have "at least" a little English language. Otherwise the Türkiye / Price balance becomes absolutely unfavorable.

Only had 1 night as a stop off but had a very friendly welcome at reception.Located on the beach, our room was overlooking the sea, very spacious and clean.Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious.Staff were great

Lift is not working during winter. Expect to walk to your room with luggage. Need to drive abit to get to hotel.

View, breakfast and location are wonderful. Friendly and polite staff.

Pillows are big and uncomfortable (for my taste at least) despite you have no option. There is a nonstop background noise from the roof of beachside rooms (rooms with pool view are silent).

The staff was very helpful and warm, always very friendly despite a lack of knowledge of foreign languages. Due to online translation, the conversation becomes easier and funny.

The weather was with showers, thunders, flashes of lightning...autumn arrived.

“Sunsan Hotel” is situated south and very close of the towns Canakkale and Kepez directly on the Aegean Beach. It is very convenient place for the tourists, which have desire to make one short stop in their way to other landmarks on the Turkish Aegean Seashore. The hotel proposes direct access to the beautiful beach and in same time own swimming pool. The rooms in the hotel are very good with amazing view to Dardanelles and European coast. In the hotel there is enough qualified restaurant, which proposes very good and tasteful dishes from Turkish cuisine. The staff of the hotel is friendly and always will be in help for the guests. For drivers in front of the hotel there is also parking place. I could give advice to future travellers to don’t avoid this very convenient place on Asian Sea Shore of Turkey.

the hotel has a resort feel and breakfast was good. plenty of parking spots. beach and sea was in front of the hotel. Good for rest and relaxation by the beach to get away from the City

Check in staff cannot speak English as we wanted to change rooms due to broken glass found in toilet drain outlet and also the balcony door to the pool was unable to be locked and we felt insecure. This hotel is a far from city centre though.

Property had a great outdoor restaurant on the beach. Breakfast was outstanding

Room smelt terribly of mould and sewerage smell , no blanket freezed through the night, the card holder on the wall for room card broken snd held with tape, mould in the bathroom, the dogs were plentiful in and outside of the restaurant, cats on dining tables

Simple hotel with friendly staff who do not speak English well but make an effort to communicate. Perfect as "transit" hotel (we stopped for 1 night on our way to visit the ruins of Troy). The location directly at the beach is very nice and the atmosphere is lovely. We liked all the friendly cats and dogs that populate the beach and garden of the hotel.

Cleanliness was not great and unfortunately our room had a French door that didn't close, so we didn't feel very safe at night.

Excellent location right on the beach with a fantastic view of the Dardanelles and the Gallipoli peninsula. Comfortable rooms. Kind and friendly staff, especially the receptionist Emre. Rich and very creative breakfast.

Lovely hotel on the beach - we were out of season and were upgraded to a very nice sea-view room. Copious breakfast. Friendly staff, but very little English spoken. Good but quite expensive restaurant.

The food was exceptional. Excellent local wine from Gallipoli region. Extensive breakfast.Very helpful staff who went out of their way.You can walk out on to the beach and a new deck has just been built to sit on. The water is surprisingly clear.

Cats in the dining room.People smoking in the dining room.Beach needs a good deal of litter picking but that maybe because we were out of season. We had a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke.It would be nice to have ironed linen but that is picky for the price.
